The final debating stages (Report and Third Reading) have been allocated a provisional business slot on Monday 20th February.
Last year the Alliance attended a round table discussion on the type of cultural property which should be protected and we expressed concerns on, among other things, the lack of protection for any Scheduled Monuments or Designated Wrecks, the exclusion of Cathedral collections and the exclusion of property on Historic England’s buildings at risk list from general protection.
We also issued several briefings during the passage of the Bill and submitted evidence to Committee.
