The winners of the 2017 Hudson’s Heritage Awards have been revealed. Penelope, Viscountess Cobham, CBE, Chairman of VisitEngland, presented the awards at Goldsmiths Hall in London.
The 10 categories reward a range of visitor experience and recognise the best heritage attractions in the whole of the UK. Winners and Highly Commended were awarded in each category. Stonehenge (English Heritage) in Wiltshire was awarded a Special Award for Heritage Achievement. Stonehenge was singled out in recognition of the work of the English Heritage in re-interpreting and representing this iconic World Heritage Site.
