Climate change matters to the Church of England and our campaign ‘Shrinking the Footprint’ exists to enable us to address it as the whole church. We are part of the ‘Big Church Switch’ campaign which exists to help churches switch to renewable electricity. We want to expand and develop this campaign and have worked with Tearfund and Christian Aid to create this exciting new post. We need you to promote and support the development of models to encourage the take up from churches of all denominations to switch to renewable electricity sources.
You’ll bring your enthusiasm for the environment and interest in taking action on climate change. Your strong administration skills, attention to detail, creativity and highly developed social media skills will enable you to foster collaborative partnerships and take this campaign forward.
