This new post is an exciting opportunity to shape the Environment Trust’s heritage projects. You will be developing local knowledge and networks, raising awareness of the Trust and identifying and developing projects where the Trust could most make an impact.

The Environment Trust aims to inspire love of local places. We are an established landscape and buildings preservation trust caring for both the natural and built environment and connecting to people of all ages and backgrounds throughout south west London. We aim to enhance people’s lives through inclusion, volunteering and learning.

We are seeking an experienced and inventive conservation specialist with a relevant degree or equivalent to manage projects to address the issues facing designated heritage assets on the Historic England Heritage at Risk register, or those potentially at risk, in south west London. This will involve working closely with Historic England, Local Authorities, site owners and local communities. You will apply the ethos of ‘constructive conservation’ and make effective use of Historic England’s Conservation Principles. IHBC Membership is preferred.
