Do you know anyone who deserves a national honour? If so, DCMS wants to hear from you!

An Honour is a unique form of national recognition. It is a distinctive way of acknowledging someone’s impact on UK life.

DCMS is looking for people whose community or organisation thinks that they are doing something extraordinary. It is important that Honours lists reflect the diversity of UK society so it is key to include both men and women, older and younger people, individuals from our many different ethnic backgrounds, people at various points in their careers and individuals from the length and breadth of the UK.

Anyone can nominate, with one exception: You cannot nominate yourself. The nomination form and guidance can be found here.

The deadline for consideration in the next honours list (Queen’s Birthday 2018) is 15 September, however nominations can be submitted at any time – they will just be considered for the next available list. The next deadline will be 20 April for the New Year 2019 honours.
