Draft transport accessibility action plan

Editor News

The Department for Transport is seeking feedback on a draft accessibility action plan which sets out proposals to improve the travel experience for people with disabilities, and seeks views and ideas about what additional steps could create a system which enables people with disabilities to independently use the transport network.

This is especially important for the heritage sector where the ‘final mile’ to heritage assets can often be difficult by public transport.

The consultation closes at 11:45pm on 15 November 2017.
