The Government is consulting on the local Government finance settlement 2018 to 2019. This closes at 11:45pm on 26 October 2017.
The consultation looks at the design of the new homes bonus for councils and considers an alternative approach. Instead of linking a reduction in the Bonus to the number of homes granted on appeal or tracking specific appeals, it looks at the quality of decision making by planning authorities.
