We are delighted to welcome Spires Heritage as our newest affiliate members.
Spires Heritage is passionate about ensuring the future of churches, historic buildings and charities. Based in East London it is a small but dedicated team with significant experience and expertise in heritage project management.
Spires Heritage provides support to a wide range of clients, helping them to find and access funding towards the repair and renewal of buildings and wider mission activity. They also offer support, mentoring and guidance with grant funding, Heritage Lottery Fund planning and delivery, project management, marketing and community engagement.
Some recent successes include a HLF grant of £1.67m for St Mary’s Church, Walthamstow and £ 1.8m for St Peter’s in the Forest, Walthamstow together with a number of other smaller grants.
Clients range from The Jazz Centre to the Electric Palace Cinema, from The Plume Library to Barking Abbey, as well as a sizeable group of churches across East London.
To date Spires Heritage has raised over £5m for churches in this area… a number it is determined to continue to grow and increase!
