Pixel Creative Technologies [Alliance member] has recently completed a VR app for Northampton Castle. The app is set in 1222, and the great castle of Northampton is hosting a tournament. Jack, the miller’s son, is invited to take part in a number of quests. Through his eyes, we take a tour around Northampton castle and see what life was like for the residents there, with various games and quests, culminating in an actual tournament, all in Virtual Reality. Pixel Creative Technologies are also creating a VR documentary about St Peters, Northampton, which had the east end renovated by Gilbert Scott. It includes VR and 360° filming. Peter Ellis and Richard Gill of the Victorian society [Alliance member] will talk about the Victorian aspects of the church.
