Editor News

The Oxford Preservation Trust [Alliance members] Awards, now in their 41st year, celebrate what is happening across town and gown, the old and the new, large and small, all making their contribution to Oxford’s character, it’s streets and green spaces.

Previous winners have included the Weston Library, Zaha Hadid at St. Antony’s, the restoration of 46 Hythe Bridge Street, Frideswide Square and the conservation of Trinity College Chapel.

‘The Awards are our way of recognising that change can be positive, encouraging the best of the new, and looking after the best of the old’ says Debbie Dance, OPT Director.

If you know of any projects completed in the last three years within the City and its surrounds, whether a new building, conservation project or landscape and environment improvement let the Trust know online or email h.wilkinson@oxfordpreservation.org.uk.
