The Caudwell’s Mill Trust, an established heritage charity with its own trading company, is seeking to appoint a mill manager. Caudwell’s Mill is a grade ll* water powered roller flour and provender mill built in 1874 on the River Wye in Rowsley near Bakewell.

The role requires the management and business skills to lead the workforce and run the trading company; communication skills to liaise with the public and funding bodies; administrative abilities to work within the budget set by the trustees and to oversee day to day financial matters for the trust and trading company; and working alongside the trustees, the vision to introduce an educational and events programme to develop a sustainable future for the site. You will also be expected to play your part in working with the trustees to develop and deliver a long term strategy.

Salary £28,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.
