Salary: £28,000 pro rata, 21 hours per week, FTC to October 2018
We have an exciting opportunity to join English Heritage at Belsay Hall and Gardens in Northumberland.
Working in close partnership with the Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens team as well as the wider Belsay Awakes Project Team, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering new volunteering activities as part of an exciting Round Two Heritage Lottery Fund application.
Joining the team based at Belsay Hall, you will help drive forward the next phase of our volunteering plans for the Belsay Awakes Project, to provide quality experiences to engage with the history and heritage of local communities through volunteering.
Working towards the submission of a Round Two HLF application, we intend to expand our volunteering offer, strengthening best practice in our existing volunteering programmes whilst also broadening our appeal to be more inclusive. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we welcome and support volunteers at Belsay Hall, as well as shouting about the impact that volunteering can have.
