Heritage 2020 – your views needed!

Editor News

Heritage 2020 is the successor the National Heritage Protection Plan (2011-2015). It sets out shared strategic priorities for organisations working together to maximize the public benefit of the historic environment in England, extending beyond protection to sustaining and promoting the historic environment in England, encouraging access to it and broadening knowledge for a variety of audiences.

It provides a framework for collaborative working by the sector and currently involves 46 people from 33 organisations through its working groups, and more through its events and social media (www.heritage2020.net).

We now seek your input to an interim review that will help to assess sector engagement with the framework, the impact of the activities of the working groups, priorities for the remaining two years of the framework period, and view on the sector’s priorities for collaborative working for 2020-2025.
