The Alliance was pleased to attend Wildlife and Countryside Link and Greener UK’s Parliamentary Farmers’ Market to hear speeches from Environment Minister Therese Coffey and National Trust [Alliance member] Director General Hilary McGrady amongst others.
The event demonstrated the growing cross-sector consensus on the interdependence of nature and farming and the need for a strong Agriculture Bill which enables us to use public money to help both farmers and the environment – including being better supported to look after the rural heritage they care for.
