Following advice from the Gambling Commission on a wide range of options, the Government is consulting on amending the limits for society lotteries in the following four areas:
● Large society lotteries: sales limits for individual draws
● Large society lotteries: prize limits for Individual draws
● Large society lotteries: annual sales limits
● Small society lotteries: individual draw and annual sales limits
Any changes to licence conditions for large society lotteries will apply to all operators licensed by the Gambling Commission in Great Britain.
The consultation will be open for a period of 10 weeks, and will close on 7 September 2018. The consultation document and details of how to respond can be found here.
