Heritage Led Regeneration in North East Lincolnshire
An exciting opportunity to drive and deliver transformational change with heritage, culture and ‘place’ at the centre of our Local Plan and the emerging Greater Grimsby Town Deal.
Up to £35,000 depending on experience fixed term until June 2022.
This exciting opportunity will breathe new life into the resort through an ambitious programme centred around two seafront streets – Alexandra Road and Sea View Street. The Programme will deliver significant outcomes by offering grant funding to match private sector investment in the repair, restoration and re-use of key buildings as well as providing a programme of heritage events, conservation skills and public realm enhancements.
You will need relevant experience managing regeneration projects. Membership of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation or a similar professional body is desirable and a working knowledge of Historic England/Heritage Lottery Funding programme would also be advantageous.
Applicants will need the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and experience of engaging with a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes.
