Following strong support and funding, the Kedleston Voice campaign has submitted an application for permission to appeal to the Supreme Court. They are seeking to overturn the Court of Appeal’s decision on building 400 new homes which would affect the setting of a listed building.
A decision from the Supreme Court could in this case have wider implications for the interpretation of ‘setting’ in regards to listed buildings across England.
