Historic Houses are looking for a smart, creative designer with an eye for story-telling to join their in-house marketing and development team and help raise the profile of their organisation and its individual members.

Essential skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Proficient with desktop design and publishing software – ideally Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop
- Able to work quickly without compromising quality and accuracy
- Highly literate with superb written and spoken communication skills
- Willingness, on occasion, to work irregular hours, attend evening/weekend events, etc
Preferred:
- Experience or interest in heritage
- Experience or knowledge of image and IP licensing and production of merchandise for commercial purposes
- Experience of employment in a design role
- Experience of using a website CMS to a high level
- Experience of writing including websites, articles and blogs
- Knowledge of how best to use SEO when writing digital content
