Applications open for the SPAB’s John Betjeman Award 2019

The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) [Alliance member] announced that entries are now invited for the John Betjeman Award 2019. The award is given to places of worship of any faith in England and Wales to celebrate excellence in conservation and repair projects. The panel will consider works (of any scale) carried out in the last 18 months which best represents the approach to conservation. The award is named after Sir John Betjeman, member of the SPAB Committee from 1954 to 1977 and writer, architectural  historian, conservation campaigner.
