Funding for farmers

Editor News

The Government has launched a review on the delivery of funding for farmers, carried out by an independent advisory panel. It will provide recommendations on a fair split of funding between the four countries, without reallocating funds already committed. As stated by the Environment Secretary Michael Gove: “This important review, led by Lord Bew, will explore how we can deliver funding for farmers that supports the individual needs of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.”

The Government ensures that the allocation of the funds won’t be based on the population size of each nation.

Overall funding has been secured until 2022.
