Editor News

On Tuesday 20 November 2018 the Raynsford Review of Planning in England was published. The review, produced by the Town and Country Planning Association, aims to investigate the current state of planning and to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the system, as well as the lessons learned both from previous reviews and other international experiences. The final part of the review aims to address the problems identified, by providing recommendations for all the actors involved in the English planning system.

The Heritage Alliance contributed to the review by responding to the prior consultation and providing evidence on the effects that the current planning system has on heritage protection.
