The latest British Council research into international views of the attractiveness of leading nations reveals that three of the four most internationally attractive countries are members of the Commonwealth, with similar values and political and legal cultures. The top ten countries for trust and attractiveness are all ranked as ‘free’ by Freedom House. This suggests a close link between political values and international perceptions.
