The European Council and the European Parliament agreed last week that UK citizens travelling to the Schengen area after Brexit for a short stay (90 days in any 180 days), would be granted visa free travel.
This visa exemption is granted on reciprocity, in line with EU rules, following the UK Government’s statement that it does not intend to require a visa from EU citizens travelling to the UK for short stays.
