The Ragged School Museum [Alliance member] was this year invited to take part in The Childhood Trust’s Summer Give 2019 to raise funds for their Family Learning Days through the holidays.
Summer Give provided an opportunity for individuals to double their donation (between 10th and 18th June) to charities that are supporting some of London’s most disadvantaged children during the school summer holidays.
The Ragged School Museum extended their thanks this week to all the donors who exceeded their fundraising goal of £5000, which will be matched by the Childhood Trust. The £10000 raised will go towards their accessible 10-day programme of free drop-in family learning days, made up of events and activities designed stimulate the creativity and imagination of children and support intergenerational learning for communities throughout the East End of London, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham.
