New Ministers

Following the Government changes of last week, the new Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced his new ministerial team. We have curated a list of relevant departments for heritage:

The Rt Hon Sajid Javid is the new Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP was appointed Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and First Secretary of State.

In the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport the Ministers are:

  • The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan – Secretary of State for Digital Culture, Media and Sport
  • Nigel Adams MP – Minister of State for Sport, Media and Creative Industries
  • Rebecca Pow MP – Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Arts, Heritage and Tourism
  • Matt Warman MP – Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Digital and Broadband
  • Baroness Barran MBE – Parliamentary Under Secretary for Civil Society and DCMS Lords Minister

In the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs the Ministers are:

  • The Rt Hon Theresa Villiers – Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
  • Thérèse Coffey MP – Minister of State
  • Lord Gardiner of Kimble – Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Rural Affairs and Biosecurity

In the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government the Ministers are:

  • The Rt Hon Robert Jenrick MP – Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government
  • The Rt Hon Esther McVey MP – Minister of State for Housing and Planning
  • Viscount Younger of Leckie – Parliamentary Under Secretary of State

In the Home Office the Ministers are:

  • The Rt Hon Priti Patel MP – Secretary of State for the Home Department

The Minister for Transport is Chris Heaton-Harris MP.
