The Historic Towns and Villages Forum [Alliance Members] will be holding a seminar and walking tour exploring the measures the city is taking to plan for the future. The seminar and tour will be held on Thursday 21st November from 09:30 – 16:30 in York.
Participants will hear from the City’s Archaeologist and City officers who are leading the renovation of the Guildhall and Castle Gateway. They will also hear from the master planners of Castle Gateway and York Central. They will learn how community representatives have come together to define community briefs for new places and the walking tour, led by City officers, will set the discussed places firmly in their historical context.
