The Pilgrim Trust assists with social welfare projects, preservation (of buildings and countryside) and promoting art and learning. Their portfolio covers areas such as charities and conservation and heritage organisations working to preserve and promote Britain’s historical and intellectual assets.

The Trustees are seeking a Director who can maintain The Pilgrim Trust’s excellent reputation whilst also developing its profile. You will be responsible for the overall management and operation of The Pilgrim Trust as well as advising the Trustees on future grantmaking strategies.

They are seeking someone with an interest in heritage and conservation who can advocate, lead and manage. You will be able to lead a small, established and committed team and demonstrate sound judgement with a robust, yet sympathetic approach to dealing with applicants for grants. You will have excellent advocacy skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
