Booking will soon be open for the biggest event in the heritage calendar – The Heritage Alliance’s annual Heritage Day on 27th November.
Heritage Day 2019 will be held at the incredible Tower of London. Join our Chairman Peter Ainsworth, the Minister for Arts, Heritage and Tourism Helen Whately, Sir Tim Laurence, Chairman of English Heritage, Duncan Wilson, CEO of Historic England (further speakers to be announced later). If you will be attending, please suggest questions in advance for the Minister by emailing policy@theheritagealliance.org.uk.
This popular event offers delegates the chance to meet a wide range of colleagues from across the sector and hear eminent speakers address the latest issues affecting the future of our heritage.
After a networking lunch the day sees several ‘HEDx’ talks where members share their expertise and lessons learnt with the rest of the sector, and culminates in the Heritage Alliance’s AGM. We will also see the presentation of our Ecclesiastical’s Heritage Heroes Awards and the annual launch of Heritage Counts.
If you are an Alliance member and are interested in presenting a HEDx talk at the event, please express your interest in an email to our policy team at policy@theheritagealliance.org.uk.
Stalls will be available for hire on the day for Alliance members to showcase their work. If you would like to book a stall, please contact Delphine (Development and Membership Manager) at development@theheritagealliance.org.uk.
This event is generously sponsored by Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.
