The Georgian Group [Alliance Member] is the National Amenity Society for the 1700-1840 period and as such has a statutory role in the planning process in England and Wales. The group’s twin aims are to protect the nation’s Georgian heritage, through its casework and campaigns, and to foster public interest in it through its educational activities.
It is seeking a successor to its Chairman, Christopher Boyle QC, who stands down in June 2020. The group is looking for an effective chairman with experience of setting strategic direction who can champion the group’s values as well as the development of their profile, membership and fundraising.
Please visit the Georgian Group website for more information on the role and how to apply. The deadline for applications is Friday 31 January 2020.
