Heritage Trust Network (HTN) is a grass roots membership organisation operating across the United Kingdom, that provides a unique resource within the national heritage sector, supporting community based organisations to revive their heritage assets for social and economic benefit. Thanks to funding from National Lottery Heritage Fund and others, the organisation has an exciting opportunity to upscale its operations over the next three years, to increase resilience and deliver a comprehensive programme of community-based training and skills development to its expanding membership.
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience of managing a heritage, cultural or community organisation, involving strategic planning, staff management and finances. A broad based interest in historic building/built environment matters and knowledge of the range of not for profit organisations working to benefit local communities will be essential. They will also be looking for someone with excellent people and communication skills, an aptitude for fundraising and business planning, as well as sound marketing and IT skills.

Location: Birmingham with travel throughout the UK
Salary: £50,000 pa
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week – One year contract with potential to extend, subject to funding
