On Wednesday 6 March 2024, the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Jeremy Hunt) presented his Spring Budget 2024 to Parliament. This is expected to be the last major fiscal event before the next general election (which is expected, at the time of writing this briefing, to take place in November). The Budget included a collection of headline-grabbing announcements – from a new tax on vaping products, to the proposed abolishment of non-dom status – but what did it all mean for the heritage sector?
