40 Years of Sussex Heritage Trust celebrated

Sussex Heritage Trust [Alliance member] celebrated its 40th Anniversary at a black-tie dinner at Petworth House on Friday 6th October. Hosted by the Trust’s President, The Rt. Hon. Lord Egremont and Lady Egremont, the dinner, attended by over 150 guests from across Sussex, highlighted the Trust’s work to support the conservation movement in Sussex.

The dinner, supported by Nyetimber and RH & RW Clutton, featured Sandy Nairne CBE FSA, former Director of the National Portrait Gallery, as the after-dinner speaker. Sandy, a Trustee of The National Trust, spoke about his work with the Trust, alongside his distinguished career in the museums and galleries sector.

Sussex Heritage Trust is a registered charity established in 1977 to preserve, improve and encourage the appreciation of the architectural and natural landscape of Sussex.
