You’ll need to be knowledgeable about the development framework for the UK’s historic places and special landscapes, have an understanding of how such places have developed over time – and be able to articulate these special qualities to both internal clients and external agencies.

You’ll work with other specialists drawn from our staff – and with a varied body of expert Historic Environment volunteers – in small teams providing expertise, support and advice across the Trust, ensuring that we present our properties to their best advantage and offer our visitors the best possible experience.

You’ll need to have an in-depth knowledge of the development framework for the UK’s historic places and special landscapes, an understanding of how such places have developed over time – and be able to articulate these special qualities.
