Canterbury Cathedral is looking for an organised and imaginative Community Engagement Manager who can reach out and engage new and diverse audiences with one of Europe’s most historically important buildings, its architecture, traditional crafts and collections through a range of community activities, creative projects and wider learning.
The successful candidate will create strong links between the Cathedral, the wider communities and partners. Applicants will need sound experience in effectively developing, managing and delivering a programme of activities aimed at new, young and diverse audiences, which has a wide appeal to all ages and levels of learners. This exciting 4 ½ year full time role will require someone who understands the community sector, and the issues affecting heritage sites and museums within this context.
