As part of Churches Conservation Trust’s [Alliance member] 50th anniversary celebrations, Peter Aiers, Chief Executive, will be undertaking an epic challenge: to visit 50 CCT churches in 50 hours! The Great National Steeple Chase will be taking place from 25th – 27th July.

Peter will start his journey in Roseland in Cornwall before travelling up the country to the CCT’s most northerly churches and back down to finish in London.

The route has been fully mapped out and Peter will have on average 10 minutes at each church, meeting people and undertaking activities in order to showcase and celebrate the CCT’s work.

This epic event aims to raise urgently needed funds for churches in the CCT’s care. CCT will be asking people to sponsor Peter on his challenge and they want as many people as possible to get involved.
