DCMS is reviewing its statistical outputs including the Taking Part Survey, DCMS Sector Economic Estimates and the Community Life Survey to meet the growing demand for analysis to inform policy decisions. These proposals are set out in its statistical work plan.
Of particular interest to the heritage sector are:
Taking Part: survey of cultural and sporting activities (Page 5) – proposal to discontinue the quarter 2 statistical release and only publish an annual report.
Export of Objects of Cultural Interest (Page 6) proposal to discontinue publication
