They are treasured places, sustaining us spiritually and socially, and they contribute an extraordinary amount of public good to people across the country. The sustainability of church buildings is our greatest heritage challenge, one that we can all have a part in meeting. The Church Buildings Council is the national Church of England body to advise the church over the care and development of its buildings and as Chair you will lead an engaged Council with a strong staff team as they meet these challenges together.
