Salary: £35,078 during probation rising to £38,386
We encourage the sustainable use and development of church buildings and we need your skills as a caseworker. You will be representing us on site visits, producing reports and assessing the impact of proposed changes. You’ll provide guidance and advice at a diocesan and local level, engage with social media, develop and update relevant websites and work with others to support training and raising design standards.
Your experience will include undertaking casework on church or other historic buildings and be informed by your understanding of the use of church buildings as centres of worship and mission. Your knowledge base will include, conservation or heritage management in England and the associated planning legislation. Your interests will include the environmental sustainability of church buildings and their use as centres of Christian worship and mission.
