An exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative Bats in Churches partnership project providing help and support to places of worship where bats are having a negative impact on historic fabric and use of the building.
You’ll be working on this Heritage Lottery funded project as part of a small team. You will work closely with church communities, ecologists, volunteers and architects to understand the issues and facilitate on site discussions. In addition you will be researching and consulting potential audiences needs and piloting community engagement approaches with the aim of developing an activity plan for the next phase of the project.
You’ll have direct experience of community engagement and be proficient at collaborative working with a range of stakeholders. Your passions will be an enthusiasm for heritage buildings and their role in the community coupled with an appreciation of the natural world.
