Church Tourism Week, a nationwide annual celebration of heritage and historic churches, is returning for a third year this summer. The week-long programme will take place from 21 – 30 July and includes a rich programme of events happening in historic churches and chapels across the country.
This initiative follows a £600,000 investment made by the Government’s Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to develop a number of the trust’s most important churches as first-rate heritage visitor sites.
