The EU funding programme Creative Europe has opened a call to provide support for the development of European video games. Eligible applicants are European companies, in particular video game production companies, which have been legally constituted for at least 12 months prior to the submission date and that can demonstrate a recent success. Heritage organisations could partner with them to build heritage-related video games. Please note that only the activities relating to the development phase for the projects are eligible. The financial contribution is between EUR 10,000 – 150,000. Deadline for applications is 27 February 2019 at 12:00 (Brussels time).
This is an opportunity for the organisations interested in building storytelling digital games and experimenting with new learning tools.
