The ‘Bowie Bandstand’ in Beckenham where David Bowie performed at the Growth Summer Festival on the 16th August 1669, 50 years ago has been listed at Grade II by DCMS on the advice of Historic England.
The one-day festival was organised by Bowie with the Bandstand as the centrepiece of the day.
