The release, covering 2017, shows that the number of businesses in DCMS sectors (excluding Civil Society) accounted for more than a quarter of the total number of businesses in the UK non-financial business economy and these grew at a faster rate (2.4% increase since 2016) than the wider UK non financial businesses (0.9%). Tourism and Creative Industries grew the fastest, followed by digital and cultural business. Read more here.
