The Parochial Church Council (PCC) for Newport Minster has been awarded Development Funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and wishes to procure the services of a suitably experienced Design Team to support the Development Phase and to lead on the preparation of Planning and Listed Building Consent applications for the proposed repairs and alterations to the building. Newport Minster is a Grade 1 listed church located in the centre of Newport on the Isle of Wight and is a focal point for island life and worship. This is an exciting opportunity to support a major restoration and regeneration project on the Island.
The Design Team will need to include a conservation accredited lead architect and principal designer, structural engineer, access consultant, M & E consultant, acoustics consultant, specialist monuments consultant, archaeologist, fire consultant (if required), and any other consultants required to meet the requirements of the Brief.
