English Heritage tells the stories of England through more than 400 historic sites and 500,000 artefacts. From Stonehenge to Hadrian’s Wall and a Cold War Bunker, our sites span six millennia and are visited by over 10 million people each year.
We are seeking to recruit a Grants and Trusts Executive to help us deliver one of the most ambitious fundraising initiatives ever undertaken by a heritage organisation in the UK.
The post holder will have responsibility for his/her own prospect portfolio, will lead on a range of small to mid-level applications, and will provide support to the rest of the Grants and Trusts team.
To be successful in this role you must have excellent attention to detail, very good writing and numerical skills, experience of working in a high achieving fundraising team, and a demonstrable track record of successful applications to trusts, Lottery or other grant-giving bodies.
