The Home Office has announced that the EU Settlement Scheme is now officially open.
Individuals who are EU, EEA or Swiss citizens living in the UK, will need to ensure that they apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to protect the rights they currently have in the UK. This includes protected access to employment, healthcare, benefits and pensions. (Irish citizens or those with valid indefinite leave do not need to apply).
It is completely free to apply, and applications are open until 30 June 2021.
