We are looking for an experienced, innovative and commercially aware Chief Executive for the Great Western Society Limited at its Didcot Railway Centre.
This newly created role reporting to the Board of Trustees and leading a senior team of staff and volunteers will be responsible for the commercial development of Didcot Railway Centre; whilst delivering good financial management, governance and stewardship of its resources. The postholder will also direct the management of our exhibition strategy to successfully engage existing and new audiences.
This is an incredibly exciting time for the organisation. The new Chief Executive will lead the change. We wish to achieve our vision to be a nationally accredited independent organisation, while operating as a working museum dedicated to the Great Western Railway.
