Greenwich Foundation for the Old Royal Naval College: Chief Executive

Editor News

The Greenwich Foundation is the charity regulated by the Charity Commission that runs the Old Royal Naval College Greenwich, originally the Greenwich Hospital for Naval Pensioners.  Sitting by the Thames, in the heart of Greenwich it forms part of ‘Maritime Greenwich’, a World Heritage Site (WHS), and its spectacular Baroque architecture and interiors draw visitors from across the world.

The Board remains ambitious to build on the successes to date in particular the Painted Hall project to develop the Old Royal Naval College further as a major cultural attraction and great visitor experience. This will require imagination and creativity to maximise the potential of the inherent extraordinary cultural and heritage attributes of the site.
