Opinions and practices relating to public participation in archaeology vary widely in different countries. Our intern, Francesca Benetti (University of Padua), and Katharina Möller (Bangor University),are researching the topic of public participation in archaeology in 3 European countries (Italy, Germany and UK) as part of their PhDs.
They are conducting a survey (https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LDBBV8T) to better understand the attitudes towards public participation among professional archaeologists and the challenges that archaeologists face when working with the public across Europe. Please take some time to share your opinions and experiences with them.
You do not need to have conducted public participation activities to complete this survey. They are also interested in the views of those who do not work with the public. This survey is open until 31 December 2018, 23:59 (GMT). It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
