Lizzie Glithero-West, Heritage Alliance CEO was invited to speak in a special session of the ICOMOS General Assembly in Delhi in December. The theme of the Conference was ‘Heritage and Democracy’ and Lizzie spoke about the Heritage Alliance model and the strong English history of civic engagement in effecting positive change for the historic environment. She spoke alongside the Indian Minister for Culture, The British Council, World Bank and UNESCO. Several attendees have been in touch, keen to create their own versions of the Heritage Alliance.
